WOMEN IN BUSINESS

We are delighted to support the next generation of women business leaders coming through by partnering with the University of Waikato, through the women in business scholarship. Our goal is to encourage and support more women to become successful in seeking a career in finance and business and to contribute to the future success of New Zealand.

Applications for the scholarship are being accepted now for 2023 and will be awarded to one student currently enrolled in either the third and final year of a Bachelor of Business, or the fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours.

Each scholarship is worth $7,500 and includes the opportunity for in-person mentoring with a senior female leader at Craigs’ head office, based in Tauranga.

Students who wish to apply for the Craigs Investment Partners Women in Business scholarship must meet the following criteria:

• Identify as female in the personal details listed in the applicant’s MyWaikato Portal
• Be intending to pursue a career in the business sector

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

• Demonstration of a broad range of interests and commitment to their communities
• Demonstration of interest in, and curiosity about, investing, the share market, and how businesses operate
